Our Club
Our History
The Warnervale Wildcats Netball Club was established in 2007 by a passionate woman with a love of netball and a desire to allow all Women (both young and not so young) within the Warnervale community to experience the benefits of playing Netball. The Club membership has grown tenfold since it was formed and continues to grow rapidly. The majority of Club members are females between 5 and 50 years of age.
Starting in 2007 with great success with just 4 teams and obtaining a premiership and a runners up. In 2008 the club double having 8 Teams and growing again in 2009. The Clubs continues to grow & in 2022 even during the COVID-19 pandemic we had 28 teams participating in the Wyong District Netball Association and who knows what the future holds.
The aim of the Club is to allow those who participate to achieve their full potential, while also providing a strong social network for its members. It balances these aims by having committee’s that are focused on all its members and their development, as well as including many and varied social events and fundraising initiatives for the Club.
WWNC is a registered not-for-profit organisation run by a Committee of volunteers, who meet regularly to manage the financial and administrative functions of the club. We as this year’s committee would like to acknowledge the founding members and previous committee for their foresight, efforts and contribution to
making our club what it is today.
